What can I put on my album?
Just about anything you want - names, dates, titles, or choose from our many graphics. We can imprint on the front, back, and spines of the albums. Unsure of what you want? We have hundreds of title ideas for you to choose from as well as an extensive selection of sample albums for you to view. Or you can be creative and design your own.

What type styles and sizes are available?
We have two fonts available for you to choose from. Goudy Cursive is our most popular. It is a script style font and is available in sizes 36 point and 24 point. Times Roman is our block style font and is also available in sizes 36 point and 24 point. Generally 36 point type is used for titles on the upper half of the front cover and spines. The 24 point type is used for the lower right corner of the front and the bottom of the spine for volumes and dates. If you visit us in person, we have transparencies with all the foil colors available to put against your albums to help you decide what color and font size you like best (See example.)

How many letters can I fit on a line?
The number of letters depends on what size text you choose. Letters vary in size so the maximum characters are approximate. Size 36 can have up to 20 characters per line.
Size 24 can have up to 36 characters per line. If the number of characters exceeds the maximum a second line may have to be charged.

What color foils are available?
We offer a wide variety of foil colors to match just about any album you have. You can put any foil you want on an album, but generally people match the colored border of the album. If you visit us in person, we have transparencies with all the foil colors available to put against your albums to help you decide what color and font size you like best.

What graphics do you offer?
We have many graphics to choose from for just about any occasion. The Double Heart is perfect for weddings, anniversaries, or engagements. We have baby feet for that special arrival. For that Disney vacation we have Mouse Ears and a Castle to finish off that magical album. Check out our graphics page for a complete listing. If there is something you want and don't see, e-mail us and let us know - we are always looking to add new graphics.

Can you make a custom graphic?
Yes! We can special order a custom graphic with clean black and white art work. We can duplicate company logos, organization logos, or any graphic with proper authorization. Contact us for specific information and pricing.

How long will you have my albums?
If you deliver them to our house or by mail we will have them ready for you to pick up within a week. If you need it sooner we will do our best to accommodate your time schedule.

Can you match imprinting I have had done previously?
Yes. Bring us your albums and we can see if our font and type sizes match your other imprinted albums. We will do our best to match the location measurements of your other albums.

What parts of my albums do you need?
We only need the parts of your album that you want imprinted. Please remove all pages and straps - we are not responsible for anything other than what is being imprinted. If you want us to disassemble your albums, there will be a $3.00 charge per album to disassemble.

How much will it cost to have my album imprinted?
We are very affordable.

What is a duplicate line?
A duplicate line is a line that is exactly the same text, font and size that you want imprinted on another location. For example: if you have "Our Family Memories" on the front cover and you also want it on the spine, the cost would be $7.00 for the cover and $5.00 for the spine.

What type of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or checks. Make checks payable to Imprints By Design. Payment is due when orders are submitted.

What type of guarantee do you have?
We guarantee our imprinting work (spelling, spacing, foil color etc.). In the unlikely event that we, the imprinters, make a mistake due to our fault, we will replace the album. If the album is no longer available, a like album will be offered. We cannot be responsible for any errors made on the order form by the customer. This includes misspelling, capitalization or illegible information provided on the order form. The customer is solely responsible for checking spelling and capitalization on the order form before the form is signed. We guarantee our imprinting quality on Creative Memory albums. We cannot guarantee our imprinting quality on every album since there are many manufacturers and different levels of quality of albums. If we believe an album will present a problem we will contact you in advance. A cawley plate is always available.

What albums can be imprinted?
All albums are not created equal. The construction and quality of an album will greatly impact the quality of the imprint. If we believe a certain album may present a problem to imprint on, we can imprint on a cawley plate and adhere it to the album. Pioneer brand and tapestry type albums will require a cawley plate. We strongly recommend Creative Memory Albums. Fabric albums as well as leather albums can be imprinted.

What is a cawley plate?
A cawley plate is a flexible brushed metal plate that can be imprinted on and permanently adhered to your album. The plates can be cut to any size and are available in brushed gold, brushed silver and white. Any foil color can be used however black is the most commonly used. Graphics can also be imprinted on a cawley plate. Cawley plates can be used for albums that are difficult to imprint on (Pioneer albums). They can also be used on Bibles, Yearbooks, Day-timers, etc.

Do you have gift certificates?
Yes! This is a great idea for any holiday, birthday or special event. Gift certificates are available in $5.00 increments.

Consultant Information

This is a highly requested service you can make available to your customers. We will come to your crop and imprint while your customers scrapbook. As our way of saying thanks, we offer incentives to consultants who have Imprints By Design at your cropping events. We will have available many samples albums to look at, ideas and suggestions to help with your decisions. Order forms are available for your customers to see prior to the event.
